…gone fishin’
I just sat down after 11 hours of work, yes 11 hours you did not misread that. I was up before 6am to set breakfast for my boss and his brothers. When I started the chef had already baked fresh croissants and pan chocolat… in between setting the breakfast I also prepared the coffee jugs… they left 7am for fishing. By 10 they came back with 3 mahi mahi and a wahoo. Greg and Leigh went fishing with our guests and lunch was pan grilled mahi mahi and wahoo served with salad. As I am typing this one the CHEF was already telling me off to get off from my laptop… we crew are having a bbq, mahi mahi of course and the wahoo…. still at Harbor Island will depart for Nassau tomorrow.
WOW good catch there. Sarap ihawin. Wahoo is I think similar to the ‘flying fish’ which can be found in our Island.
And Chef Greg ooks good on his uniform with the shorts on.
everyone must have cheered seeing those beauties!!
K its Chef Jeff… Greg is our Aussie mate (1st officer) he will strangle me if i post his photos here… hmmm soon

OH chef Jeff yes he works like that while we all have proper uniforms he works with music from classical to rock ….
Toni… yes they are yummy as well anyway they went out fishing yesterday again and came back with 3 small mahi mahi which our chef pan grilled all I could do was to hug him and tell him how fabulous our crew meal was
Wow! Gorgeous Catch!!!! Looks like ur having a good time fishing…
What incredible looking fish! Fresh fish always the best 🙂 YUM!
Nammm isugba 🙂
wow ang laki! sarap naman niyan!
What I’d give to get my hands on such incredibly fresh fish, still tasting of the sea. A nice perk of your job! Although 11 hours of work in a row is WAY too much. Take care, Sha.
Grace: they had a good time I was up 6am to serve them breakfast before they set off but it was a great feeling they came back with those catch its around 13 kilos by the way. We wanted to stay for an extra day for us crew to do fishing but… we had to get back.
laurie: it was so fresh indeed imagine less than 3 hrs they were back and with in the min they arrived the chef filleted them and we had it for lunch…. 11 hrs a norm we do work 15 hrs or so with at least 1 hr break to nap…
What an impressive catch!
