wow. the table setting is one of the better ones i’ve seen and perfect that you were able to document it. now on with the wine…and the appetizer…what’s on the menu that night sha?
Those are beautiful glasses, a lovely place setting, and a great photograph. What have you been cooking??
Are those acrylic? I understand a restaurant won’t allow glass on a pool deck – or is that in a mansion? Beautiful set-up there, Sha. I want to learn how to cook a dark-ink risotto tho.
K not acrylic the boss will fire me for that… this is one of the most important day of the Jewish calendar… they are glasses real glasses hand blown… its my boss pool dear. they own one of the finest property in South of France. The boat is anchored off just outside.
dark ink risotto i can do sometime
LAURIE… today for lunch I made roast beef, baked potatoes, salad… yesterday was quiche with spinach , courgettes and smoked bacon. Yesterday dinner farfalle with my fave home made sauce of cherry tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, capers, basil,…. marinated pork chops, steamed vegetables and corn cobs…..
JUNNIE will do a follow up post.. bec there is something interesting on that rosh hashanah that i have learned that day. Other than understanding kosher I have learned to understand the jewish culture too.
Love those kind of glasses, you can still see the bubbles! And in different colors, just spendid taste… have a jar and a fruit bowl of the same technique!
Mmm, Sha, it all sounds pretty good, especially the farfelle and quiche. I’ve been thinking of you and hoping all is well! I finally posted my caper recipes and thought of you when I did. Take care, and I hope your new chef arrives soon!
the table setting is fabulous and the pool, very inviting! i found your site while blog hopping, and your travels are just amazing…
