Summer Fruits
Just came back from my walkabouts here in Athens and went to check the farmer’s market on the other side of my area. After my shock with the food prices in Oslo and the availability of fresh products in that beautiful city, I am just so happy to be here in Athens again.
My fjord escapades will soon be posted……at the mean time am going to enjoy all these fruits blessed by the Gods and the Goddesses!
Rodakina – Peaches 2euro a kilo
Berikoka- Apricots 2 euro a kilo
Kerasia – Cherries from Mt Olympus area, blessed by the Gods and Goddesses
Honey Dew Melons 1.10 a kilo
Wow, love those melons!
I’m not really a fruit person (Schade), although I know I should be one.
Nice shots! When are you going to start your photo blog?
P.S. BTW, timing na timing yung mga pics mo. Yan ang topic namin sa French class kanina.
Mepion Inday Sha, Yasas, yasas!! you left for greece and you didn’t take me with you??!!!huhuhu….
Until when are you staying there? I walked along syntagma square while eating those luscious succulent fruits; grapes, greece produces excellent grapes, the tiny seedless ones that are so sweet. I ate those cherries too while we were roaming around the ruins of dion at the foot of the sacred mountain. sha pls. adopt me and just make me your housesitter, or dog walker, or olive presser, anything. di ako malakas kumain, kahit olives and feta cheese at tinapay lang masaya na ‘ko!
Hello Schatzli, glad to meet you too at Stel’s party! Thanks for visiting my blog! I noticed UK, Med, Oslo, Greece, on your profile, where are you based? I read about your travels & the food, wow! Have fun & God bless you on your trips!
